Let me tell you about maggie…
life happens
“it’s really what you choose to make of it that counts.”
Born 1941 into a wealthy British family living in Montreal Canada, sent to Vancouver Island to a private equestrian school for ladies and then on to University, Maggie left it all to saddle up a cow pony to become an armed range rider in the mountains of central British Columbia watching over 3,000 head of cattle for the Deadman Creek Cattlemen’s Association. Her dream was to own her own cattle ranch.
Without much money all she had was her determination and hard work. Now in her eighties, living in a log house she built 40 years ago Maggie lives and works on her ranch in Alberta with her husband Mac, raising cows and selling beef.
Her life has been one of crushing heartbreaks, extreme hardships and incredible victories. She is a joyful mix of compassion, spontaneous adventure, strong opinions, toughness, and courage. And doesn’t suffer fools.
So saddle up and come along for the ride. There’s lots of life yet to live and love. click the icon to follow on Instagram
